• Fontijne manufactures floor mounted laboratory platen presses for sample preparation in the polymer processing, rubber, and composites industries. The small footprint space saving presses are used both in the QC laboratories and in R&D laboratories. The LabEcon series come in 15, 30 or 60 ton capacities and include touch screen controls with simple to sophisticated programming options.

 

• The platens are the most accurately and evenly heated platens in the industry, able to meet stringent ASTM and ISO requirements. Platen cooling options also meet ASTM methods for polymer sample preparation. Multiple "daylights" are available each with individually controlled heating and cooling.
